Biography

I am an Associate Professor at the School of Advanced Interdisciplinary Sciences (SAIS), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). I am affiliated with the Learning and Machine Perception (LAMP) Lab, where I work with Prof. Qixiang Ye. Before joining SAIS, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the LAMP Lab.

I received my Ph.D. from UCAS in 2023, advised by Prof. Tieniu Tan. Before that, I received my M.S. from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2017 and my B.Eng. from Tsinghua University in 2015.

Research Interests

My research interests include multimodal representation and generative models, post-training techniques, and their applications to autonomous agents.

Recently, I have been particularly interested in how these models can support self-improving agentic systems.

[Opening Positions] I am actively looking for highly motivated and self-driven students. Prospective students with strong initiative and interests aligned with the topics above are welcome to contact me by email.
